Its production is focused on the commercial brands Bosch, Siemens, Balay, Gaggenau and Neff. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/www.predictland.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot_7.png\" alt=\"BSH Electrodom&#xE9;sticos Espa&#xF1;a - Automatic management of raw material quality certificates\" class=\"wp-image-2847\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Challenge<\/h2>\n\n<p>BSH needed a solution to integrate the data coming from the quality certificates issued by its raw material suppliers, as these certificates were stored in PDF in different factories.<\/p>\n\n<p>This complicated quick access to these certificates when they needed to be consulted, so a system was proposed that would process, extract and integrate all the PDF data and allow easy and centralized access at any time.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Results<\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list wp-block-list\">\n<li>Agile, fast and integrated access to raw material quality data, avoiding repetitive and costly tasks such as consulting PDFs in the traditional way.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitoring and analyzing the quality of the raw material received and obtaining conclusions much more quickly and correctly, as well as facilitating the investigation of possible causes of raw material defects in a direct and efficient way.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possibility of labeling the raw material according to its performance in the factory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solution<\/h2>\n\n<p>The solution consists of:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list wp-block-list\">\n<li>Automatic processing of the certificates sent by the supplier to our customer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automatic process of extracting the most relevant data for the business of each certificate and storing them in a centralized database.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.predictland.com\/en\/ai-techniques\/generative-ai-and-llms\/\">Generation of Excel files<\/a> with the processed data to facilitate access to the users involved.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Application for visualization of stored certificates with the possibility of categorizing them into good or bad according to the performance of the raw material in the manufacturing line.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access control to the application through Microsoft Active Directory based on Internet Information Services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automatic sending of e-mails to application users with monthly certificate tagging statistics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The data used in this solution are:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list wp-block-list\">\n<li>Data extracted from the certificates sent by raw material suppliers, which are originally in PDF format.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The technology used for this solution is based on:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list wp-block-list\">\n<li>R.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shiny<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Microsoft SQL Server<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Microsoft Excel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Microsoft Active Directory<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Internet Information Services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Testimonial<\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>C\u00e9sar San Juli\u00e1n Sala<\/strong><br\/>Head of Supplier Development at BSH Electrodom\u00e9sticos Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n\n<p><em>&#8220;Always agile, flexible and responsive with solutions.
